Thanks to Australian comedy group Tripod, there is a great term for movies that just don’t connect the way they should. As they said originally,

“King Kong was good, but that movie needed to get to the f***ing monkey.”

So here I am. I found a great outlet for my criticism and sarcasm when it comes to Hollywood. But don’t get me wrong, there are some movies I love. I’m a huge movie buff, you know the kind of guy who has a movie line and reference for any situation. Yup, thats me. I completely agree with Dane Cook. I love cinematic adventures.

Oh and I’m a huge Star Trek, Marvel, and LOST fan. There’s your ff, or, fun fact for those of you who don’t get what I just said.

I don’t think I’ll be moving my previous reviews to this site, so if you are interested, here is a link to my CirclePad.

Find Get To The Monkey on Facebook.

Ratings are on a scale of 1 through 5. If a movie totally ruled, like the Bruce Willis movie RED, then it gets 5 monkeys. If it totally sucked, like Adam Sandler’s first movie Over Board, then it gets a half of a monkey.
